Joy Behar, one the co-hosts of The View, said that they’re putting something in the food that makes our kids fat. She said she was looking at a 1950 photo of a public pool in the town where she grew up and there were hundreds of kids in the photo and not one of them was fat. I went to The View’s web page and several people commented that kids are fat nowadays because they get little exercise and they eat junk food. The commenters thought that someone would not deliberately put something in the food. I know for a fact, the commenters are wrong.

When I pick up anything in the supermarket it has at least seven chemicals listed as ingredients. The chemicals are poison that cause heart disease, diabetes, cancer and a host of other ailments — including autism and hyperactivity. Some are addictive. The kids affected by the chemicals take additional drugs to counter act the chemicals they’re getting in their food. For hyperactivity children are given Ritalin, which is a stimulant, to calm them down.
I can now remember many instances when I was helping companies that dealt with food, who talked about putting chemicals in the food they manufactured or served. Why is it important to keep the American people sick? Fun? It’s also partially due to the greed of the pharmaceutical companies. They make money when people are chronically ill. I was told that often the same pharmaceutical company that produces the drug to combat, let’s say, high blood pressure, also makes a food additive that gives us high blood pressure.
I’m talking about every company that makes junk food, fast food, prepared food for the supermarket, and now even supermarket bakeries. Often they don’t even list all the chemicals they put into our food. When the bread you buy has more than 3 ingredients, read the label.
One of the reactions that happen is our bodies make a non-soluble fat. It’s a new kind of fat that can’t be broken down and utilized by the body in any way. You literally could be very fat and die of starvation because your body won’t be able to get rid of or use this new fat. Right now the only solution is prevention and the only way to get rid of the fat is surgery.
So Joy’s assumption that there’s something in the food making our children fat is absolutely correct. If you have a child please read the labels and avoid all chemicals. This means making meals from scratch – the way they did in 1950.
